1) Delete all Contact Information. Deleting their phone number from your phone. Or storing their phone number elsewhere so you are not compelled to call them. Deleting their email from your contacts so you do not contact him. Deleting the emails both of you have exchanged. Delete/Block them from your online Social Network.
2) Deleting and/or putting away the photos of both of you or of him. The memories are wonderful but they should never hold power over your emotions. You can store them away until you are ready to look at them.
4) Putting away/donating the belongings they had given you. If you have no use for those items, you can give to someone who can put it to good use. If its a necessity, then you can keep it.
5) Keep your distance away. Do not make any attempts in contacting them. If you are angry, hurt, or disappointed, write a letter to them, but do not actually send it. letting go of your feelings will help you heal.
